NÆS Print no. 852: "The Reveal"

Photographed by Liam Campbell, this portrait is of Marco R, officially the 848th subject photographed for Elska, part of our NÆS 02 (He Believes in Beauty) series.

Although designated as elskan no. 848, Marco was one of the first men I ever photographed nude, part of my pre-Elska photography development phase. I remember being pretty astonished when he undressed and was already rock-hard. He had seemed so shy, believe it or not, and the sight of that thick knob almost frightened me. This was an early lesson that guys often get hard for that brief moment when they first undress… It's a sort of automatic erection, and once ‘The Reveal’ is over and the subject gets used to being naked, the dick calms down.
