Photographed by Liam Campbell, this portrait is of Mykola K, the 654th subject photographed for Elska, part of the second edition of our Elska Lviv (Ukraine) series.

Here Mykola is seen crouching on a dining table illuminated gloriously by a humble sputnik-style chandelier. The title of this art print comes from a combination of the Icelandic words ‘ljós’ meaning ‘light’ and ‘strákur’ meaning ‘boy'. Mykola is indeed our very dear ‘Lightboy'.
