Elska Print no. 900: "Oes Gafr Eto?"

Sometimes a bad photograph becomes one of my favourites. Such images also tend to take me on inspirational journeys, like the one that put the Welsh folk song and road trip favourite ‘Oes Gafr Eto?’ into my brain. In this song, which translates as ‘Is there another goat?’, you sing verse after verse about a different goat, each time changing the colour of that goat. You usually start with a white goat, then go to a black goat, and then you get to weird colours like pink or blue.

But whyyyyyy?! Well, don't forget the other meaning of GOAT, i.e. ‘greatest of all time’. Aidan was truly one of the greatest subjects I've ever had in front of my camera, so easy-going, and somehow both whimsically warm and somberly blue. When I saw this photo that captured his warmth and his blueness with his gorgeous bum, I knew I had to make an art print of it!
