There’s a song that I used to be crazy about when I was around five years old. It was called ‘She Bop’ by Cyndi Lauper. I distinctly remember asking all my cousins about the line, “I see him every night in tight blue jeans on the pages of a Blueboy magazine,” desperate to know what a ‘blueboy magazine’ was, and no one would tell me. When I saw this image, that memory flooded my brain, and so I had to make an art print of this image and call it ‘Blueboy'.

And for the record… she bop, he bop, we bop, I bop, you bop, they bop… we all will be bopping to this image until our fingers fall off!
