Photographed by Liam Campbell, this portrait is of Joaquin Z, the 799th subject photographed for Elska, part of our Elska Buenos Aires (Argentina) series.

For this scene, I asked him to go towards the closet to pose near a full-length mirror on the back of the door. Joaquin, however, had a better idea. He decided to go inside the closet, revealing his humour, his exuberance and his lovely, hairy armpits!
