Photographed by Liam Campbell, this portrait is of TeeJ (front) and Devlin J (back), the 548th and 549th subjects photographed for Elska, part of our Elska Atlanta (Georgia) series.

The name ‘þolinmæði’ [tho-lin-may-thee] means ‘patience’ in Icelandic. It's in reference to the long relationship they have had and to the long future they will share. Indeed, during this shoot, Devlin proposed to TeeJ (read their story in ‘Elska Atlanta’ for more context). The name is also in reference to the patience these men showed during this moment, ‘cos they clearly couldn't wait to ‘celebrate’ alone!
